    Carolina Day School, an independent school with instruction for grades K-12, and an award-winning Key School, for children with developmental or learning disabilities.


    Carolina Day School creates an academic environment that carefully studies and adheres to best practices around the science of learning, with gender-based classrooms in lower and middle schools, an emphasis on the Orton-Gillingham approach to learning, and a guiding quest to build in the skills of critical thinking within all of their young charges. While Carolina Day celebrates and holds dear certain academic traditions, its academics are quite modern in approach.


    Our stated mission from our Carolina Day client was, “Increase admissions, increase admissions, increase admissions!” And so we did. In fact, in addition to going above and beyond the traditional marketing relationship (we even taught a class on marketing to their students), we were so successful, Carolina Day suddenly had waiting lists for admission into each of their four schools.


    In October 2012, admissions inquiries in CDS’ Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School combined were up 88% from the previous year. And during our engagement, Carolina Day say a 171% jump in applications from fall 2012 to fall 2013.
